Description

International retail company is seeking to employ an experienced Store Manager/ HOD to join their team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous Retail Management experience.

  • Relevant business degree and 5 – 10 years retail experience at a senior management level
  • Solid interpersonal relations

  • Proactive goal setting, structuring plans, identification of the appropriated resources (people and materials) to achieve the goal

  • Understand and provide clear direction to the team based on market analysis of local area consumer trends and competitor offerings

  • Offering innovated, different ideas that do not stem from existing processes and identifying less evident models and original combinations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the team to meet strategic business objectives
  • Lead and support a team of supervisors
  • Manage daily sales and customer relations
  • Identify business growth opportunities (new markets, new products and new services)
  • As a member of the management committee, cocreate and decide on the strategy to implement
  • Participate in crossdisciplinary projects with fellow colleagues
  • Design the most costeffective delivery channel for his department
  • Develop appropriate risk management strategies
  • Introduce efficiency, improvement measures for an optimal return and stakeholder value
  • Develop customer service improvement strategies
  • Get involved in drafting and changing policy to align with changing market conditions
