WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Closely collaborate with the Retail Buying Team to deliver the product strategy based on trend and with our customer being at the heart of what we do.
  • Designing the garments according to the predicted popular colors, textures and fabrics.
  • Design patterns and styles to ensure we build a strong range.
  • Researching and commercially translating seasonal trends using business analytics, customer insights, trend tools, local and international retailing.
  • Being able to identify key looks, items, colours and pattern into commercial success.
  • Be a creative support through design to ensure that we always maintain our own identity.
  • Assist in the development of Tech packs.
  • Help drive and map out Quick Response and Fast Fashion initiatives.
  • Continuously find new sources of inspiration.
  • Review and analyze current and past information/trends to help guide category assortments and strategic lines
  • Make suggestions in relation to maximizing sales and profitability.
  • Preparation and presentation of post seasonal analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A love of urban fashion.
  • Qualification in Fashion Design

3- 5 years work experience in similar role.

  • Pattern and print design experience
  • Strong fashion retail background.
  • Pattern and print design experience
  • Ability to be highly organized with great prioritization skills.
  • Excellent organizing and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in Photshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Advanced MS office.
