Your Go-to for Contemporary Ladies’ Wear: Style Temple
Fashionomics Africa

Always looking to Africa’s most stylish women for new brand and designer inspiration, Chimamanda Adichie and her project “Wear Nigerian”, has become a true guide to all those eager to celebrate all that is new in the world of Nigerian fashion and trendsetters. One of the latest brands to appear on her Instagram page, is Nigerian based Style Temple, which stands out thanks to daring, playful cuts that defy traditional lines and shapes.

Founded by Og Okonkwo, who developed an eager eye for fashion and elegance at a young age, Style Temple combines the classic and the playful to find that modern, feminine edge. Coming from a family whose women place great importance in style and fashion statements, Okonkwo had a lot of support and encouragement in pursuing her dream of becoming a designer worthy of dressing the women who inspired her life’s path in the first place. Through her travels and love for different cultures and people, she continuously collects new ideas to implement into her designs.

Style Temple offers a wide spectrum of day wear, night wear and extravagant pieces for special occasions that will quickly make its wearer become the talk of the town. The 2018 pre-spring collection is bathed in pastel hues of pink and blues, and black and white combinations that make powerful statements through contrasts and incredibly original cuts. One of Style Temples’ signature design choices, is its unique take on sleeve shapes and eye-catching embellishments such as can be seen on one of their most popular tops – so popular it is currently out of stock! – the Gely Garden. This Chantilly lace top will help its wearer burst into bloom with hand-cut floral appliques, announcing the arrival of spring.

Another classic example of Style Temple’s forward-thinking approach to cuts and shapes, is the Deconstruct Jumpsuit currently on sale. Following the curve of the female body, this jumpsuit is flattering with a hint of modesty – with a closed neckline and an asymmetrical apron-style overdress, this piece is as exciting as it is comfortable and fits into the business world as much as it does into a night out on the town.

Follow Style Temple on Instagram to stay up to date with new collections and flash sales!
