Pagabags
Reclaimed materials, local traditions, global style. Ethical accessories that are good for you, and good for the planet. Handmade by women artisans in Burkina Faso.
PagaBags was first launched in September 2012. Thanks to a small group of committed customers and a handful of sales to friends, we were able to raise money to pursue the social enterprise. In July 2013, PagaBags was officially established.
Our goal is to promote the empowerment and entrepreneurship of women weavers by creating sustainable jobs and improving quality of life in the neighborhoods where we work.
By using plastic bags in the weaving process, PagaBags helps clean up the neighborhood while raising awareness on pollution and health. We are committed to paying decent wages, providing business skills training, and supplying healthcare to our workers.
Wear your values.
