Fashion Designer - Cape Town
·    Your responsibilities will include, among others:
·    Proven design experience - at least 5 years as a Designer
·    Develop designs and ranges for the private label brands of the various customer target markets, appropriate to lifestyle and end-use
·    Incorporate brand handwriting / personality into the ranges and become the brand custodian
·    Execute approved styles into technical packs for buyer tendering to suppliers for production
·    Challenge the status quo and seek new methods in order to continuously improve on the way things are done  
·    Design experience (active & leisure wear preferable, as well as menswear)
·    Excellent flair for fashion & high attention to detail
·    Excellent artistic/creative flair;
·    Experience in a manufacturing environment and patternmaking knowledge would be advantageous
·    Computer literacy (a working knowledge of Freehand / Illustrator required, as well as internet navigation)
