Design Academy of Fashion is looking to hire the services of a Fashion Design & Computer Illustration Lecturer at our Woodstock, Cape Town campus.

We offer a three-year full-time Diploma in Fashion as well as intensive short courses in the field of fashion design at our boutique-style campus in the vibrant Old Biscuit Mill complex. Purpose:

• Lecture the Computer Illustration and Design modules across the 3 Levels.
• Lecture Illustration & Colour Theory across Levels One and Two.

Minimum qualifications required:

Bachelor: Fashion-related qualification

Applications to be lectured:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign

Responsibilities:

• Lecturing
• Planning, organising, general administration and facilitation of the mentioned courses.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on the student's marks.
• Researching and developing course content.
• Quality Assurance activities.
• Attending Quality Assurance meetings.
• Assisting with Content Development (ad-hoc)

Experience:

• Relevant lecturing experience
• Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
• Relevant research experience
