mrp is looking for a Clothing Designer for our Menswear Oakridge department.

Your passion for fashion and creative design will see accurately interpret trend information and briefs into original/ fashion forward items of clothing and fashion ranges that excites the mrp customer.

In this role you will also be responsible for briefing graphic designers on the artwork you require for your design and be responsible for the quality of the work delivered.  Your designs will be supported by tech packs and previous experience building tech packs with all garment technical details including construction, size specification guide and fabric and trim specifications is required.

The minimum requirements for this role will include the following:

• A relevant degree / diploma in fashion design or clothing management
• You must have had 3-5 years previous design experience within a supplier or manufacturing environment
• Adobe Suite CC (Illustrator and Photoshop)
• An excellent understanding of garment construction, fabric and print knowledge
