New York, Los Angeles and Nigeria will take turn to hold the annual runway showcase of African Fashion and Design Week™ 2016. This events would be the spotlight during 7 to 9 of October and is expected to catch the eyes of local and international media focused on the rich culture of Africa.

Under the theme “Be Inspired”, collections from top established and emerging African designers will be showcased . Via Annual African Icon of Hope Awards, the Continent’s top designers and Business of Fashion seminar will be acknowledged and honored. 

With Blueperl Services International’s commitment the event will foster African fashion talents and design industry, there will be also an opportunity to select one of the most creative and innovative designers in the Bluepearl Raising Stars competition who will be awarded a title of Bluepearl Raising Star for the year 2016 at the African Icon of Hope Awards.

African Fashion and Design Week 5th edition continues to showcase the magnificence of Africa through the creativity of her fashion designers, providing more retail access for designers to consumers globally, invaluable networking opportunities celebrating each other in the African Fashion Industry and enabling designers showcase their collections during the New York fashion week.
