Online Circular Economy Courses via the Ellen MacArthur Foundation
Launched in 2012, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation quickly established itself as global thought leader and driver towards the transition to a circular economy. Focusing on six interlinking areas, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation has brought the benefits of a circular economy to the attention of decision makers across industries including government, business and academia, as well as niche markets such as fashion.
During the 2017 Copenhagen Fashion Summit, the foundation launched the Circular Fibres Initiative – now known as Make Fashion Circular – which brought together industry leaders including NGOs, innovators, brands and philanthropists. The Circular Economy short courses, are made up of a 2 day residential on six different topics including design, technology and innovation, whereas the Circular Economy masterclass series in partnership with the Exeter University, runs for a period of 6 weeks and is designed strictly as a distance learning program designed to improve the engagement of influential decision-makers and leaders.
