Shima Seiki is a leading company in computerized knitting manufacturing, therefore, everyone is expecting them to exhibit at the upcoming 15th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG 2018). Being the pioneers of Wholegarment knitting technology, the company will be exhibiting their most recent solutions for the Bangladeshi and future markets.

Shima Seiki should be paid close attention to as they have made it possible to produce garments in one piece, without the necessity of linking or sewing the fabrics. With their SWG091N2 Wholegarment knitting machine model, they will demonstrate the effectiveness of the process, as the machine of this sort allows flexible production for a wide range of products, while still being an economical and compact package.

Moreover, Shima Seiki‘s SVR123SP model is capable of inlay technique, which regards to creating never-seen-before, unique knitweave products. This new feature is capable of creating a jacquard-like design, while just using plain jersey stitch and can be used for individual needles in terms of creating even more intricate designs.

Lastly, Shima Seiki will also be showcasing their SSR series workforce machine, PCAM series computerized cutting machine, the SDS­ONE APEX3 3D design system, and Shima KnitPLM. Overall, the company has created a sort of ‘complete fashion system’, as these machines not only greatly impact garment production process, but some of them even take care of sales and promotion.
